Episode 1 Act 3 of Valorant is slated to launch next Tuesday, 13th October. In preparation for this, Riot Games has been teasing the community regarding the new season. However, earlier today, the developers unleashed a slew of juicy details in a blog post<\/a> outlining how the Act will play out. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

This blog post contained information about the Battle Pass, competitive refresh<\/a>, Singularity skin bundle<\/a>, and the new map, Icebox<\/a>. However, what fans didn’t expect is the tease regarding a new Agent.<\/p>\n

Although Riot only showcased an image of a wolf in relation to the Agent, data-miners uncovered a ton of additional news. This includes the character’s abilities and her name, Skye.<\/p>\n

Valorant Act 3 to see the arrival of new Agent Skye<\/h2>\n

As of right now, the only confirmed details we have about Skye is that she’s coming to Act 3 on 27th October. Riot Games also teased us with an image<\/a> of a wolf which seems to hint at her abilities if the leaks are correct. <\/p>\n

Speaking of those leaks<\/a>, it appears we have concrete information about Skye’s abilities. The descriptions were pulled from the Valorant files so while not official, this is what fans can expect out of the new Agent. <\/p>\n

Skye’s leaked abilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Basic Ability: Area of Effect healing but unable to self-heal<\/li>\n
  • Basic Ability: Wolf Drone that is remotely controlled <\/li>\n
  • Signature Ability: Send out a Sova-like Recon Bolt that gathers information<\/li>\n
  • Ultimate Ability: Send out three wolves to chase down enemies <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If these prove to be true she appears to be a healer with the potential to recon enemies, think Sova meats Sage, and with the latter’s healing powers diminished that coupling of abilities will likely make Syke a must-pick.<\/p>\n

    Besides her leaked abilities, there’s not much else we know about Skye. We know that she’ll arrive in Valorant on 27th of October though, so we should hear more official news closer to that date. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
