This means anyone on any system can download the beta and begin experiencing the multiplayer. If you want to earn some additional rewards, like free Battle Pass <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/how-to-earn-free-tier-skips-in-warzone-by-playing-the-black-ops-cold-war-beta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tier Skips<\/a> in Warzone, try and make sure you reach level 10.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_274899\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_184507\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_444146\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_689781\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<p>To mark the occasion, Treyarch has pushed an update out for the beta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s update, sees a raised level cap, new weapons, streaks, and other items, and the popular Control game mode.<\/p>\n<p>Keep reading to see everything that arrived with the 17th October patch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>New Black Ops Cold War beta update&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/QwqsYdLYxL79eoVFfXwh2Sj-0nk3oFdGdLNOtd_ises\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0pvc2VwaC9ib2N3LnBuZw\" alt=\"Black Ops Cold War Oct 17 patch notes: New level cap, Control, and more added\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\">(Picture: Treyarch)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The biggest attraction with the update is the increased level cap. Previously held at 31, this new, and presumably final, cap now sits at 40. Pitting two teams against each other, this mode is like Search and Destroy, Hardpoint, and Domination mixed into one mode.
