Since Valorant’s release there has been problems with the weekly rewards found in the battle pass. <\/p>\n

Mean’t to help you level the pass up, their grinding nature and absolute need to do to complete the pass has made a source of frustration for players.<\/p>\n

But it seems that help is at hand as Riot has revealed that changes are coming, and soon, with Act III’s weekly challenges set to get easier in the coming days and weeks.<\/p>\n

Riot Games to rework the weekly challenges in Valorant<\/h2>\n

“The goal of weekly challenges was to provide a bulk source of XP progress and tie some playful texture to the progression experience,” explained, Naoise Creavan, Valorant’s senior production manager during the bi-weekly Ask Valorant blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Going on to admit they’re “not happy with the current state, as some of them can be a grind.”<\/p>\n

The current weekly challenges create what Creavan calls “unhealthy play patterns” that task players with objectives that simply aren’t worth the time invested.<\/p>\n

Riot Games’ short-term plan to combat this is to make the weeklies easier to complete in Act III and even remove some of the notorious ones. The hope is that this will make completing the challenges more rewarding and in the end, give players the XP they crave. <\/p>\n

However, long-term, Riot wants to keep looking at how progression can remain engaging. Creavan finished his answer by speaking on this issue. “We want to revisit how to keep game-to-game progression engaging. It’s still early, but we have a design that seems promising for further exploration.”<\/p>\n
