Exciting news came to Valorant fans today as Riot Games unveiled a patch<\/a> that welcomed a brand-new Agent, Skye, and Icebox joining the competitive map rotation.<\/p>\n

Sadly, the devs had to backtrack on the update announcing they’d be rolling it back from the North American servers, delaying the patch outright for the rest of regions. <\/p>\n

When is Valorant patch v1.11 going to be released?<\/h2>\n

While there was no date set in stone for the re-release of patch 1.11, Riot confirmed it will happen sometime “later in the week<\/a>,” as they look to fix the issues while trying to accommodate a date that doesn’t throw a wrench in the First Strike tournaments, the first competition organised by Riot to support the ever-growing Valorant esports scene<\/p>\n

As for players that were already grinding the Skye contract looking to get their hands on the latest Agent, Riot gave fans good news — you won’t lose your progress on the contract, however, you won’t be able to advance further until the patch is live once again. <\/p>\n
