All in all, there’s a laundry list of fixes, changes, and new content coming with the full release of the newest entry in the Call of Duty franchise. In terms of exciting new items, the developers revealed that several new weapons, game modes, and features are arriving on day one. This includes the FFAR 1 (Famas) assault rifle, weapon inspecting, nerfs to sliding, and overall weapon balance.

In regards to the sliding nerf, Treyarch took on board community feedback and reduced the length and speed of the movement method. Sprinting should now be the primary movement method now, instead of sliding like it was in the beta.

Also, the developers nerfed sniping pretty heavily. There’s now an increased ADS time and the aim assist isn’t as strong but does feel smoother. Overall, Treyarch is hoping to keep snipers and enemies on the other side of the scope happy.
