Professional Smash<\/a> player Elliot Bastien “Ally” Carroza-Oyarce will be retiring from competing after admitting to having a relationship with a 16-year-old fellow competitor.<\/p> <\/p> This comes after his ex-girlfriend spoke out about the emotional abuse she endured<\/a> at his hands in March 2018, but Ally has clarified that this situation has been settled in court and he has been advised to not speak to her or address it publicly since.<\/p> <\/p> Ally, who was 27 at the time of their dating, posted an apology on Twitter whilst announcing his retirement.<\/p> https:\/\/twitter.com\/AllyUltimate\/status\/1146635272261709824<\/p> <\/p> <\/p> He said, “I’m going to admit I dated Zack. I didn’t do him any wrongs but it was a stupid mistake regardless and I’m really sorry for not saying it until now. I was really scared. I’m sorry Tanim [Omary, another pro Smash player] for lying to you about dating him.”<\/p> <\/p> Omary had accused Ally of dating Zack “CaptainZack” Lauth, and this obviously caused a lot of controversy due to the ages of the two involved.<\/p> <\/p> Both players denied accusations at the time, but CaptainZack has now tweeted out that the situation had been dealt with and he wants to move forward.<\/p> Hi guys im back <3.
