Elemental Mastery is good on Childe because his melee attacks are all Hydro based, and Arrowless Song applies to both his Elemental Skill and Burst well (the Riptide damage is nasty).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/yAyz41mD9aHVScWY1IP8B3lK1BkofxakvjXcXyjZ4OU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0dlbnNoaW5fSW1wYWN0L1JhdmVuX2Jvd18xLnBuZw\" alt=\"Genshin impact childe guide raven bow\" width=\"398\" height=\"580\" loading=\"lazy\">(Picture: miHoYo)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A final nod has to go to the Raven Bow. If you haven&rsquo;t managed to role The Stringless or Rust, this 3* bow will still do work. YouTuber Zy0x shows off why succinctly, consistently getting around ~400k crits in Abyss with said artifact build&hellip; at Constellation 0, no less.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Part of why this works is that Wander&rsquo;s Troupe&rsquo;s 4-piece effect triggers <strong>even when Childe is in melee stance<\/strong>. He already does impressive DPS simply by abusing Riptide procs on charged bow attacks, but using charged attacks in melee with improved elemental mastery and +35% Charged Attack DMG from Wanderer&rsquo;s Troupe will shred enemies. Your play pattern is likely apply Riptide, switch to melee, then normal auto into charged auto and repeat.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/IE0Ppy6nD6wOiEf7aYMtyNB3ujQkR6Ll38LrCQrJeik\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0dlbnNoaW5fSW1wYWN0L2NoaWxkZV9hcnRpZmFjdHNfMi5wbmc\" alt=\"Childe artifacts guide\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\">Artifacts all ready and set for enhancement (Picture: miHoYo)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It is worth noting that Zy0x actually runs Noblesse Oblige 2-piece for his truly monster crits (the +20% Burst DMG is excellent), so consider that a more than viable option as stated before.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Artifact Stat priorities<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That brings us onto the stats you want to be looking for on your artifacts.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Main Stats:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ATK% Sands of Eon<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Hydro DMG% Goblet (key)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">CRIT% Circlet<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ATK% and CRIT% in general<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Sub Stats (in order of priority)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">CRIT%<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">CRIT DMG<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ATK and Elemental Mastery<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Childe&rsquo;s ATK scaling is&hellip; insane. At level 7 Havoc: Obliteration (Childe&rsquo;s Elemental Burst) does 696% DMG in melee plus 180% Riptide Blast DMG if that&rsquo;s been applied as well. Compare that to Diluc&rsquo;s Elemental Burst scaling at the same level (rough 300~%) and you can see Tartaglia&rsquo;s potential.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That&rsquo;s why your main goals are to bring up Childe&rsquo;s ATK stats and the rate at which he crits. Hitting crits on an Elemental Burst with 800-900~% scaling is Elite Boss one-shot potential, and a good attack scaling on autos too courtesy of Riptide make Childe a real powerhouse&#8230;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/Lq5zCkJ4QVKpeCEXdB5jxSqClF-_U7893YuuARorITI\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL0dlbnNoaW5fSW1wYWN0L2NoaWxkZV81LnBuZw\" alt=\"Childe artifacts\" width=\"970\" height=\"546\" loading=\"lazy\">(Picture: miHoYo)<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Basic play-patterns<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&hellip; If you can use him.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Tartaglia, especially with no Constellations, is difficult to use. Your variable melee transformation cooldown (goes up to 45s if you time out and don&rsquo;t transform back to ranged manually) can really make Childe a headache. Fitting, lore-wise.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There are two main schools of thought: one), stay ranged as much as possible, then go in for the kill in melee once your Elemental Burst is charged, or two), just stay in melee for the as long as possible leaning on the amped Riptide damage on melee autos, only switching back to ranged at the very end of the duration to avoid the hyper-extended CD.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One thing is generally universal though: use his Elemental Burst in melee where possible. It&rsquo;s just more&hellip; everything &#8211; DPS, CC, adds Riptide damage, you name it. If you can manage Tartaglia&rsquo;s E CD well, the Abyss will be your oyster. If you can&rsquo;t?
