Assassin's Creed Mirage Map Size Revealed, Smaller Than Recent Titles

Assassin's Creed Mirage Map Size Revealed, Smaller Than Recent Titles

The size of the Assassin's Creed Mirage map has been revealed, and it's comparable to some older Assassin's Creed titles.

During Summer Game Fest, Easy Allies interviewed developers that worked on Assassin's Creed Mirage, stating in a video:

"The size of the map... they compared it specifically to Constantinople in Assassin's Creed Revelations and Paris in Assassin's Creed Unity. They said it's about that big."

This makes the entire map much smaller than the Titanic undertaking that was the Assassin's Creed Vahallas map and might bring lapsed players back to the game in a big way. After all, a lot of recent complaints about the Assassin's Creed franchise were that it has lost its way and started to morph into something that values size over substance, so returning to a smaller world and a smaller-scale game could do wonders for both the game franchise and the fanbase.

Assassin's Creed Mirage was first announced back in September 2022 alongside several other titles in the series and was originally an expansion pack for Valhalla before it was decided to turn the game into a standalone product. It's apparently a much shorter experience, lasting between 15 and 20 hours, and won't take up all of your time like recent offerings.
