Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a fantastic game that players are getting back into. Whether it's through sales or any other reason, a lot more people are enjoying Cold War these days. One aspect is its Zombies mode, allowing players to use crazy weapons to clear massive hordes of the undead. 

Not only that, but there are plenty of easter eggs that players love to discover, with each Zombies mode map in Cold War having a unique secret waiting to be discovered by the players. In Die Maschine, the easter eggs are tied into a mechanic known as the Dark Aether Portals. Here, we are going to go over all the Dark Aether Portal spawn points in Die Maschine.

In Die Maschine, players will have to interact with the Dark Aether portals to not only complete the easter egg but to get much better upgrades throughout the map. The first portal that will always spawn will be near the Pack-A-Punch machine. If you are confused about where that is, the portals are marked on your mini-map with a black star.

Assuming that you complete your objective there, there are three locations where the next portal will spawn. The other Aether Portals will spawn on top of a building that has the Wonderfizz machine, the Powerswitch Room, or behind the Quick Revive machine. Go to these locations and complete the objective to keep the sequence going.

How To Reopen Aether Portals In Die Maschine

In most of the portals that will open, you're looking for an item that you can build back in reality. The items you are looking for are Aether Scope parts. You only have a limited time to find them and sometimes, you won't know where it is. So, are you out of luck? Is there any way to open up the Aether Portals again?

Yes, there is. You can open Aether Portals after they close up. The main thing that you will need to do is kill 25 zombies to reopen Aether Portals. The portal will reopen in the same spot it was at previously, giving you another chance to complete your objective.
