Safeguard is a round-based mode that requires teams to either escort or stop a robot from reaching its destination across the map. The robot can be damaged by enemies' firing, so the attacking side must protect it while the defending side must disable it.

The team that successfully escorts or defends the robot wins the round, and you will have to win two rounds first in order to win the match. The game will extend to another round if the teams are tied after two rounds, where each team will have to move the robot to its destination in the fastest time possible.

How to Escort the Robot in Safeguard Mode

The robot will follow a predetermined path and will only move when at least one player from the attacking team is near it. If the opponent team causes enough damage to the robot, it will go offline and need a restart, which will delay its progress.

How to Stop the Robot in Safeguard Mode

The robot will only stop moving when it is damaged enough by enemy fire. The defending team must inflict as much damage as possible on the robot and keep it from advancing. If they succeed in keeping the robot from reaching its goal, they score a point.
