How To Get Seaweed in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To repair Moana's boat and complete 'The Mysterious Wreck' quest, you'll need 7 Rope. Rope is made from fiber, which you can craft from seaweed.

To get seaweed in Disney Dreamlight Valley to help Moana repair her boat, you'll need to go on a little fishing trip.

Go to Dazzle Beach - or any beach, really, but Dazzle Beach should be the most convenient. This is the best seaweed location in Disney Dreamlight Valley. 

Make sure to bring along your trusty fishing rod. If you bring along a fishing buddy, they'll help you catch double the seaweed at once, so be sure to do so if you can.

Cast your line into the water, but don't aim for the fish - aim away from the bubbles, so you'll have a higher chance of catching seaweed and a lower chance of catching fish.

You might catch some low-tier fish on your first few tries, but keep going; you'll no doubt eventually catch some seaweed.

One seaweed makes five fiber, and you need eight fiber to make one rope. So to get the 7 rope you need for the quest, you'll need to catch 12 seaweed total on your adventure. With a fishing buddy by your side, you'll only need to catch 6 on your own, since they'll match your catch.
