Marvel's Blade Release Date Speculation

At the time of writing this, there is no confirmation on the release date for Marvel's Blade. We know from the first official trailer that Marvel's Blade is currently "in development." Based on the development cycle of Arkane Lyon games, we can speculate when the game will be released. 

Arkane is relatively consistent when developing and releasing their games year to year. At most, there has only ever been a two-year window (aside from the initial few releases) between each game. Additionally, they tend to release games in the second half of the year. They tend to alternate between a Spring/Summer release and an Autumn release.

To this end, and this is PURE SPECULATION, we think Marvel's Blade's release window might be September 2025. Check back to see if we get this prediction right!

Marvel's Blade Gameplay 

Not much is shown in the cinematic trailer to give any sense of what the gameplay will be like in Marvel's Blade. 

However, based on the team developing the game, it is highly likely that this title will end up being a first-person shooter. Having developed other FPS games like Deathloop, Dishonored, Wolfenstein, and Redfall, it wouldn't make much sense for Marvel to outsource this game to a studio that didn't have experience in the desired genre. 

We also see Blade carrying several guns, bombs, and his signature blade in the trailer. 

Players can expect to be gunning down vampires as the titular vampire hunter in this game, more than likely!

Marvel's Blade Platforms

At the time of writing, the confirmed Marvel's Blade platforms are Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

No mention was made of the game's availability on the Nintendo Switch or PS5. However, viewers were quick to point out that there was no Xbox logo emblazoned over the trailer, which would signal that this is an Xbox-exclusive game. 

This gives some hope that the game will come to multiple platforms, but for now, there is no confirmation. 

PC System Requirements For Marvel's Blade.

At the time of writing, there's no indication of what the PC system requirements for Marvel's Blade will look like, with official information still being few and far between. Based on other Arkane Lyon games, we can speculate on the requirements. The following specs are the requirements to play Redfall (the most recent Arkane Lyon game).
