The inaugural Mobile Gaming Awards (Mobies) is set to hold its first ever ceremony on July 14, 2023, with awards hosted by multi-Emmy award winning Infinite Reality Studios in Los Angeles, featuring a variety of industry experts, personalities, and more.Previously, the organization revealed that over 1 million votes have already been cast.

Now, the Mobies has announced that MOGO (Mobile Global Esports Inc.) will be an Official Event Partner for the upcoming awards ceremony.  As part of the partnership, MOGO will present the “Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year” award which recognises an event organised for Mobile players that has demonstrated excellence in its production and promotion.

Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge, co-founder of the Mobies, said of the partnership, “It’s great to welcome MOGO to the Mobies family. MOGO is known for its competitive events held in India, alongside developing esports-themed champtionship and trademarked event merchandise for university teams across the country. MOGO has also provided a platform for gamers to showcase their skills on the global stage, such as through the CEX championships. 

Nominees for the first ever Mobies include plenty of known brands and games, including TikTok, Marvel Snap, Pokémon UNITE, and PUBG Mobile. The celebration will also welcome numerous personalities to its guestlist, including YouTuber Tobias “Panda” Näslund and CEO of Fluxo Bruno "Nobru" Goes.

The Mobies will be held on July 14 in Los Angeles. GINX TV will be reporting on the evening's events, along side ESTV Esports TV.
