Kaguya-sama Love Is War Season 3 - Release, episodes, more

The Spring 2022 Anime season is shaping up to be a good one for slice-of-life and romantic comedy fans, with Komi Can't Communicate season 2 and Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie as two big standouts.

Perhaps none is more anticipated than Kaguya-sama Love Is War returning for a third season. The show, produced by A-1 Pictures, is based on Aka Akasaka's wonderful manga series, which is nearing its conclusion according to recent rumours. 

Anime fans need not worry, though, as the series still has a ton of material to tackle, with trailers confirming Kaguya-sama Love Is War season 3 will adapt the highly anticipated Devoted Hearts Festival arc. One you won't want to miss if you're a fan.

With that being said, here's everything you need to know about Kaguya-sama Love Is War season 3.

Kaguya-sama Season 3 - Start date

Season 3 of Kaguya-sama Love is War, titled Ultra Romantic, is set to premiere on 8th April in Japan.

From then, it'll follow a standard weekly release, with potential breaks yet to be announced. 

Kaguya-sama Season 3 - Episode list 

We have no confirmation regarding the number of episodes in season 3 of Kaguya-sama. The previous two were comprised of 12 episodes each, so expect a similar amount this time around. 

Episode 1 of Kaguya-sama Love Is War Ultra Romantic will cover chapters 95, 102, and 117 from the manga series. These are:

• Chika Fujiwara Wants to Fight

After the merge between Crunchyroll and Funimation, the former has officially confirmed that Kaguya-sama love is War season 3 will be a part of their Spring 2022 lineup.

Kaguya-sama Season 3 - Opening and ending

Kaguya-sama fans will be pleased to hear that Masayuki Suzuki is returning for the third time, this time with the track "GIRI GIRI" alongside Suu.

The ending will be performed by Airi Suzuki, it's called "Heart wa Oteage."
