The Rolling Stones are making their Roblox debut with a major interactive experience launching on July 10 inside the platform’s entertainment hub, The Block, timed to coincide with the release of the band’s 25th studio album, Foreign Tongues.
Developed by Roblox’s Innovation Studio in partnership with creative agency Sawhorse and members of Roblox’s creator community, the experience takes players through six decades of the band’s history. Players locate and destroy colourful crystals inspired by the Stones’ 2023 album Hackney Diamonds, with each era soundtracked by a different song from the band’s catalog – all working toward powering up the iconic tongue and lips logo to unlock the next chapter.
Interactive Finale Event and Physical Merch
From July 17 through July 19, the experience will host a timed finale event where, every hour, the game shifts to a different Stones era with rotating songs, dynamic lighting, and visual effects. Think less passive concert stream, more collaborative live event.
Roblox has also partnered with more than a dozen community creators to reimagine the famous tongue and lips logo as avatar accessories – and some of those digital designs will be available as limited-edition physical merchandise through an in-game Shopify integration linked directly to the band’s online store.

“Collaborating with The Rolling Stones and being trusted to reinterpret something as iconic as the Hot Lips logo was something I never imagined I’d get to do,” said Roblox creator WhoseTrade. “Getting to work alongside other creators and see our ideas come to life across both the physical and digital worlds is what makes Roblox such a special community of talented creators and opportunity.”
Jessica Meehan, Head of Music Partnerships at Roblox, added: “The Rolling Stones’ legacy has inspired multiple generations of fans, and we’re thrilled to help bring that story to life for a whole new generation on Roblox. From exploring decades of music history to collaborating with creators whose virtual designs become physical merch, this experience brings together music, creativity, and commerce in a way that’s only possible on Roblox.”
The collaboration is the latest in a growing line of major entertainment brands building inside Roblox – a platform that continues to attract both original creators and global IP holders looking to reach its enormous, active player base. The Rolling Stones experience goes live in The Block on July 10.
