A Fortnite-inspired scare zone is coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, with a Fortnitemares-inspired scare zone confirmed for Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
According to Insider Gaming, the scare zone is called Freaky Fields – described as a Halloween-inspired living battleground where guests work their way through ever-evolving, high-stakes environments to escape and claim victory. Visitors will encounter the iconic Battle Bus alongside familiar Fortnitemares characters, plus a few new additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights.

When and Where
The scare zone debuts at Universal Orlando Resort on August 28, with Universal Studios Hollywood following on September 3. It debuts this fall at Universal Orlando Resort beginning August 28 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 3.

Fortnitemares merchandise tied to the scare zone goes on sale July 23 at noon Eastern Time so if you want the merch before the crowds descend, that’s your window.
What Makes It Different
Universal’s press release touts authentic experiences reminiscent of the popular video game that also introduces park-exclusive content – meaning these HHN characters and scenarios are park-exclusive.
