Team Spirit have eliminated MOUZ 2-0 in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 semifinals, booking their place in the grand final on the back of another dominant performance from star player donk.
The result will sting for MOUZ, who had been in strong form coming into the match after eliminating OG, B8, and Astralis on their path to the last four. Their win over Astralis was particularly notable – the Danish side had been in impressive form and were considered one of the tougher obstacles at that stage. Spirit, meanwhile, arrived having swept past Passion UA, G2, and Virtus.pro without dropping a series.
It is also worth noting that the two sides had met recently in the IEM Cologne 2025 grand final, where Spirit proved stronger in a bo5, securing a commanding 3-0 victory. MOUZ came into this semifinal with a chance for revenge in a new tournament.

How the Semifinal Played Out
MOUZ made a promising start on Ancient, winning the first half 8-4, but Spirit responded sharply after the side switch, forced overtime, and closed the map out 16-14. Mirage was never close – Spirit led 10-2 at halftime and sealed it comfortably to complete the 2-0 sweep.
The standout figure throughout was donk, who finished with a 42/30 K/D, an ADR of 91.7, and a rating of 1.4 across the series. It was exactly the kind of performance that has made him one of the most talked-about players in the world right now, and it was the difference between the two sides at every key moment.

What’s Next
Spirit now wait on the outcome of the second semifinal between Vitality and The Mongolz, with whoever comes through set to face them in the grand final. The victory over MOUZ was yet another testament to Spirit’s stability at the top level, and the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Grand Final promises to be the true climax of the tournament regardless of who Spirit face across the server.
