How To Increase Gear Slots Inventory Space In Hogwarts Legacy
Across most RPGs, storage space is an issue many players have struggled with, and it’s the same for those exploring the enchanting world of Hogwarts Legacy. With plenty of gear to collect, making that tough decision on which gear items to sell or dismantle is one many wishes to avoid.
There is an alternative solution: increase your inventory slots to store more gear, but how does one achieve this? Well, the solution may also take some time as you’ll need to complete the Merlin Trials, for which, after completing the Trials of Merlin quest, you’ll unlock more trials throughout the world map.
As they’re marked on the world map, it makes finding one relatively easy, but ensure you have Mallow Sweet to start the trail and solve the first puzzle. You can increase the inventory slots by navigating to the Challenges tab, selecting Exploration, and scrolling down to find the Complete Merlin Trials.
You can claim the rewards after reaching certain milestones or tiers when completing two, six, ten, 14, and 20 Merlin Trials, which the reward is increasing inventory slots for your gear to gain 52 slots overall. However, should there come a time when you’ve run out of inventory slots, the best thing to do is browse to find the gear that is no longer in use, and you can either dismantle it or sell it to the vendor at Hogsmeade.
