Thestral Locations In Hogwarts Legacy
You can find Thestrals near Thestral dens in the Bog region of the map, specifically north of the East Ford Bog fast travel point.
Once you have finished the main quest, ‘The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom, you can use your Nab Sack to capture a Thestral. The easiest way to capture one is by sneaking up on it using the Disillusionment charm.
How To Get Thestral Hair In Hogwarts Legacy
Once you have captured a Thestral, go back to the Room of Requirements and let it loose in the Vivarium. Brush and feed the Thestral to get Thestral’s Hair.
If you bought the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, you already have a Thestral mount in your inventory. Simply summon them in the Vivarium and brush and feed them to get Thestral’s Hair.
If you’re high on coins and don’t want to go through the trouble of capturing one, you can simply walk into the Brood and Peck shop in Hogsmeade to buy one. Each Thestral’s Hair costs 400 coins.
