GINX.TV is an independent news publication that will occasionally work with brand partners to produce advertorial editorial content for the website. To maintain 100% transparency with our readers, these articles will always be clearly labeled to indicate that they were created in collaboration with an advertising partner.
In most instances, sponsored editorial content will be written by GINX staff with information given to us from brand partners. On some occasions, our partners may supply us with the content directly, which will be edited to meet our style guide before being published. In all cases, GINX will strive to ensure that content remains factually correct as well as engaging and valuable to our readers.
Articles that are created with brands will be labeled as either ‘Supported Editorial‘ or ‘Advertisement Feature‘, and this page is designed to help readers understand the difference between the two.
Sponsored Editorial
Articles that are labeled as ‘Sponsored Editorial’ are independent pieces of content, written by GINX staff, and funded through the support of a commercial partner.
The focus of these articles may be agreed upon in advance with an advertising partner, but will always be independently written by GINX staff under the supervision of a senior editor.
It is also important to note that articles labeled as ‘Supported Editorial’ are not sent to advertising partners for approval, but may include a link to their brand.
Advertisement Feature
Articles that are labeled as “Advertisement Features” are funded and approved by a commercial partner before they are published on GINX.TV.
These articles may be created by GINX staff with input from the advertising partner, but sometimes they may also be created by the client directly.
As commercial content, an ‘Advertisement Feature’ is designed to promote a brand or specific product; and typically these articles will include outbound links to either the brand or the product in question.
