Remedy Entertainment has announced a New Game Plus mode for its upcoming survival horror game, Alan Wake 2. The news comes just a day before the game's release and coincides with a terrifying launch trailer, which the studio premiered at the Xbox Partner Preview showcase. 

Alan Wake 2 is getting a New Game Plus mode after launch, and while its release date hasn't been confirmed, the studio did reveal everything it has to offer.

The New Game Plus mode in Alan Wake 2 will add a Nightmare difficulty level. In addition to this, there will be a new alternative narrative, including new Manuscript pages for players to hunt and new video content. As with any NG+ mode, players will also retain all their weapons and upgrades from their previous save files. 

Alan Wake 2 arrives on 27 October 2023 for PC (Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game's reviews go live on 26 October 2023 at 6:00 AM PT | 9:00 AM ET | 1 PM GMT.
