In the last update, players have seen the game become more optimized with streaming features for mobile devices, and now InnerSloth is going big with the announcement of a massive roadmap.
In the official blog post, they revealed that they are working on a new map, a new game mode, new achievements, an account linking feature, Visor cosmetics, and more.
15 player support with new colours
An announcement of 15 player loobies was made a while ago and finally, it will be arriving in the game in the next update. And with the increase in the number of players, the number of colours are getting increased too. With the new update, players will be able to select new colours such as Rose, Gray, Tan etc.
The next update will also bring the ability to play with a controller. Just like the other games, it is expected that the players will be able to connect their PlayStation or Xbox controllers and enjoy the game to a new level.
Other than these main features, Among Us will see some graphical improvements coming in the next update.
What else the Among Us roadmap includes
Although the details are not completely out here are highlights that the players can get out of the 45 seconds video posted by the developers.
A brand new map - Yes! Map number five will be arriving in the game. However, no details have been shared regarding this.
More achievements - Those who have already bagged all the achievements points, here’s a piece of good news for them. In future, InnerSloth will be adding some more ways to grind achievements points to show off in the friends’ circle.
Account linking between platforms - Cross-saving feature will arrive in the game to let the players save their data and cosmetics available on their platform of choice.
New roles - New roles are being added. The video revealed two names ‘Sheriff’ and ‘Scientist’ which are probably the new roles.
New game mode - A new game mode named ‘Hide n’ Seek’ will be arriving in the game
Next-generation support - Finally here’s another big news for the console fans as InnerSloth reveals that they’re working on the next-generation console support. However, no release timeline has been revealed as of yet
Visor cosmetics - Another way to customise the character. With the new in-game cosmetics, players will be able to equip items in Crewmate’s visors as the dev log mentions, "Yes it may block your vision but at least you'll be fashionable"
