2023 ALGS Championship Finals: Start Time, Date, How To Watch

The 2023 ALGS Championship is coming to a head, with the Finals just on the horizon. Here's when it starts and how to watch along.
2023 ALGS Championship Finals: Start Time, Date, How To Watch

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS), the official esports tournament series for Apex Legends, is in its third year. The best teams from around the world are taking to the stage in Birmingham, UK to compete for their share of the $2 million prize pool. Previously, we saw these teams duke it out in the Split 2 Playoffs, competing for a $1 million prize pool at the Copper Box Arena in London.

This year's Championship is split into three stages: Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and the Finals. The Group Stage sees 40 teams, split into four even groups of ten, play each other across a six-game series. That's a total of 18 games for each team. The results of the Group Stage determine which teams advance to the Bracket Stage in either the Winner's Bracket or the Loser's Bracket. The top ten teams of each bracket will then compete in the Finals.

If you're hoping to watch along with the action this year, here's how to watch the 2023 ALGS Championship Finals, including start date, time and more.

The 2023 ALGS Championship Final will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. BST/11:00 a.m. EST. It's worth noting that there are no match limits when it comes to the Finals, meaning it's hard to estimate exactly when the Finals will end. This is because of the following ruleset:

  • Once a Team reaches the minimum total points of 50 in the Finals, The next match becomes "Match Point Eligible" for that team.
  • The first team to win a match after they are "Match Point Eligible" is declared the winner
  • There is no limit to number of teams who can be "Match Point Eligible".
