Does Apex Legends Mobile support crossplay/cross-platform?

Apex Legends Mobile is all set to arrive on May 17 on Android and iOS devices, and right now, it is available for pre-registration. The game will allow you to play Apex Legends on mobile devices anytime; however, players are curious if they would be able to play it with their old friends on PC and console.

Apex Legends Mobile needs to be supporting the crossplay/cross-platform feature for you to be able to play the game with PC and console players, but does it? You can find the answer to this question below.

Is Apex Legends Mobile crossplay/cross-platform?

As per the official FAQs blog post of Apex Legends Mobile, the game will not feature crossplay with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends as it has been built specifically for mobile devices. 

This means that you will either have to play the game on console or PC to be able to play with your friends, or they will have to install Apex Legends Mobile on mobile for you. Otherwise, you can also go through random matchmaking if you don't have a team to play with.

Meanwhile, you can pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile to earn some free pre-registration rewards that are listed below during the global launch.

  • 500,000 Pre-registrations: Pre-registered 
  • 1,000,000 Pre-registrations: Fateful Games - Banner Frame
  • 2,500,000 Pre-registrations: On-Target Banner Pose
  • 5,000,000 Pre-registrations: Teeth Cutter-Epic RS9 Skin
  • 10,000,000 Pre-registrations: Molten Earth - Epic Skin
  • 15,000,000 Pre-registrations: Become Legendary Holospray
  • 25,000,000 Pre-registrations: Sunfire Initiate - Epic Skin
