Following betas and some delays, Electronic Arts finally launched Apex Legends Mobile, a AAA battle royale experience built for Android and iOS devices. The game is filled to the brim with content in its "soft launch" period and is only available in 10 select countries right now. Just like every other multiplayer title out there, Apex Legends Mobile players could run into some errors, and one in particular which states "device not supported" is confusing some players.

The Apex Legends Mobile device not supported message is a hardware error. Simply put, it means your tablet or phone can't run the game.

This is not due to any type of region locks, and maybe, just maybe, a new mobile device will be required to play. Before gamers open their wallets for a new phone or tablet, however, there are some things to check.

Unfortunately, there is no clear way to fix the Apex Legends Mobile device not supported error, as this is a hardware issue.

We suggest checking if your device meets the minimum requirements (for Android or iOS).

Apex Legends Mobile Android specs:

  • Android 8.1
  • Open GL 3.0 or higher
  • At least 3 GB RAM
  • Screens size: N/L/XL

  • iPhone 6S or later
  • OS version: 10.0 or later
  • CPU: A9
  • At least 2GB RAM

If your device meets the requirements but you still receive the error, it might be due to using a "flashed" aka custom OS mobile device.

  • Oppo
  • Huawei
  • Motorola
  • Samsung
  • Lenovo
  • Xiaomi
