Apex Legends Mobile device requirements - Android and iOS specs

Following several beta tests and some delays, Apex Legends Mobile's soft launch happened in the early hours of the morning on 8th March 2022. Players from the 10 countries available (download the APK for Andriod if your country is not supported) are pouring into the mobile battle royale on Android and iOS with one of the game's unique legends (characters). Some, however, might be wondering if their mobile gaming device meets the requirements for Apex Legends Mobile.

Apex Legends Mobile device requirements - Min specs

The minimum device requirements (specs) for Apex Legends Mobile have been revealed. Check them out below featuring what mobile gamers will need to run this latest battle royale title.

Apex Legends Mobile Android specs:

• Android 8.1
• Open GL 3.0 or higher
• At least 3 GB RAM
• Screens size: N/L/XL

Apex Legends Mobile iOS specs:

• iPhone 6S or later
• OS version: 10.0 or later
• CPU: A9
• At least 2GB RAM

At the time of writing, it is unclear what players will need to run the game at max graphics with smooth frame rates.

What is the Apex Legends Mobile file size?

Apex Legends Mobile requires 3 GB of free space on your mobile device. The game's file size is roughly the same, weighing in at around 2.8 GB. This is the initial download size. However, when all in-game data is downloaded and installed, the size is roughly 4.7 GB on Android devices.

Keep in mind that this is during the soft launch period. Future updates might increase the file/download size of Apex Legends Mobile, as the developer continues to add content to this new battle royale experience.

The developers have provided a list of Android mobile device brands that Apex Legends Mobile is optimized for with only 2 GB RAM:

• Motorola
• Samsung
• Lenovo
• Xiaomi

iOS devices with less than 2 GB RAM and Android devices with less than 3 GB RAM are not supported at this time, except for those listed above.
