Apex Legends Unshackled event - Start date, themed collectibles, and Flashpoint LTM

Things are picking up in Apex Legends as Season 12 continues to roll along. While players have been enjoying the action including a new Biwon Blade Heirloom for Crypto, the game developers are set to drop even more content.

Before Season 13 arrives, the game devs are slipping in one more event as Unshackled is coming soon to servers. Catch up here on all the themed collectibles, skins, and the return of the Flashpoint limited time mode.

Apex Legends Unshackled event - Start Date

While many players may be already looking ahead to Season 13, there's still time left for exciting action in Season 12: Defiance. Potentially the final act of the season has now been revealed by the game developers as the Unshackled event is set to bring new content to the Apex Legends servers.

The Unshackled event is set to go live beginning 19th April and will run through 3rd May, which is when Season 13 is rumoured to be starting. Many different event-theme collectibles will be available throughout the period, so here's what to look for when the event gets started.

Apex Legends Unshackled event - Skins, Packs, and Collectibles

Through the Unshackled event, the Apex game developers are bringing 40 new collectibles into the fold including Legendary & Epic tier skins. Event-themed collectibles will be made available through special Unshackled Packs which guarantee an event-themed item.

Also featuring during the Unshackled event, players will have the chance to play through two unique weekly challenge tracks to unlock event-themed cosmetics. Here are both track time periods as well as the rewards players will have the chance to unlock:

April 19th to April 26th

• Key prizes include Unique Badge, Epic Charm, Epic Re-45 skin, Epic Seer Skin.

 April 26th to May 3rd

• Key prizes include Unique Badge, Rare Apex Pack, Epic Boxing Nessie Holospray, Unshackled Pack.

Apex Legends Unshackled event - Flashpoint LTM

One of the most exciting parts of the Unshackled event, the ultra-popular limited-time mode, Flashpoint is back in action! Play on Olympus as you never have before, in Flashpoint, healing items are removed from the loot pool and replaced by “Flashpoint Zones”. These zones are large areas that heal all Legends inside them.

Naturally, these locations become major hot spots and procure intense combat for players attempting to survive. Hop back into the action beginning 19th April when the Apex Legends Unshackled event begins.
