Red Bull Gaming is hitting up the Apex Legends scene once again, bringing together two ALGS icons to take over the Godfrey Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen and Timothy "iiTzTimmy" An are set to reunite for the return of the Red Bull Legends Inn.
The invite-only tournament will bring in players from all over the world to take on unique challenges that are full of surprises, with nine rounds of challenges voted on by viewers at home.
The competing teams will need to earn points through eliminations and general survival, with the team with the highest collective score being crowned the winners. This year, the Red Bull Legends Inn will feature online qualifiers, with both ImperialHal and iiTzTimmy inviting Apex Legends pros to be team captains who then get to build their duo. However, through online qualifiers, fans at home will get the chance to compete, too.
There's a total of $25,000 in prizing up for grabs with the top 10 teams walking away with a piece of the pie. Winners of each round will also secure themselves a unique, one-of-a-kind Heirloom. The ultimate winning duo will also get their hands on a pair of trophies.
The Red Bull Legends Inn will take place this year on December 5, 2025 at the Godfrey Hotel, Chicago.
iiTzTimmy & ImperialHal Skydive Into NOLA With Red Bull & ALGS
In other news, Red Bull and the ALGS came together for the ALGS Open to throw both ImperialHal and iiTzTimmy out of a plane above New Orleans alongside broadcast talent Raynday. Yes, really. You can watch the whole VT below:
While iiTzTimmy was no stranger to skydiving, for Hal it was a unique experience. Speaking to GINX, Hal said: "That was my first time doing it, ever. I was the first one to jump out of the plane... I think I volunteered. Because Timmy, he's done it before multiple times. He was like, 'Yeah, the worst part is watching other people go.' So I said 'Okay, I'm going first, then.'"
When I was going up, it was pretty scary because the plane is small," Hal said. "It's not like your normal commercial plane. You're just going up [at an angle] the entire time. You feel like you're about to fall off the seat. But after I hopped out, it was fine. It was really good and cool to do."
The ALGS Open is taking place May 1-4, 2025. Fans can catch the action via the official Apex Legends Twitch and YouTube or via FACEIT Watch channels.
