The next major event for Apex Legends, Sun Squad Collection Event, has been announced, and it will bring a brand new limited-time mode, new cosmetics, Heirloom, and more into the game. You will have to complete different challenges to earn tons of rewards, and not only this, but they will also help you level up your battle pass.

Apex Legends Sun Squad Collection Event
Apex Legends Sun Squad Collection Event will begin on March 28, and while no exact time has been announced, as per the previous collection events, we can expect it to start at 10 AM PDT. We will update this page once Respawn announces it officially, and here is everything it will bring into the game.
New Limited Time Mode: Heatwave
In this mode, there will be periodic Heatwaves that will give damage to players, and to avoid it, they will have to take cover indoors or under objects. However, if you can't, you will have to keep sliding, as it will cool you down.
In addition to this, the size of Heatshields has also been increased to offer you some extra help beating the sun but keep in mind that they will get destroyed quickly if used outside the ring. Apart from this, you can also loot Care Packages that might contain some equipment like Sunglasses to block the sun out.
Apex Legends Sun Squad Collection Event Cosmetics & Rewards
You will be able to get 24 limited-time cosmetics in Apex Legends Sun Squad collection event, and these can be purchased by spending Apex Coins or can be exchanged with crafting metals. You can have a look at them below.
Apart from this, if you unlock all of these items before the event ends on April 11, you will get the newest Ash’s “Strongest Link” Heirloom.
In addition to this, there will also be some free rewards that you can get by earning points by completing daily challenges. You will be able to earn up to 1,600 points per day, and you will also be able to track your progress in the rewards tracker.
