What are Arkpocalypse Servers?

Ark Survival Ascended Arkpocalypse Servers are dedicated official servers. These servers are overseen by the game's developers and, therefore in constant control. Arkpocalypse focuses on fast-paced gameplay, directing the player toward PVP instead of PVE.

When Do ARKpocalypse Servers Wipe?

For those who don't know what a "wipe" entails, wipes are essentially server restarts. A Wipe will delete all player progress, allowing everyone to experience a completely fresh start all over again. Developers also wipe servers to allow newcomers to experience an easier entry to the game. The ARKpocalypse servers wipe regularly once per month, this will allow players to experience progress for thirty days and then have a fresh start. ARKpocalypse servers also wipe in a particularly cool way; a meteorite smashes into the surface from outer space and everyone inside a server on wipe day will see this event occur. 

When Is The Next ARKpocalypse Wipe?

The next ARKpocalypse wipe will take place on May 24th, 2024. The countdown timer below will show you how long you have to wait until the next meteorite hits and the servers wipe.

ARKpocalypse Rates, Explained

ARKpocalypse servers typically feature higher than usual rates for players and normally this means 3x rates most of the year. The below shows you the default rates for ARKpocalypse.

• Taming Speed: 3x
• Dismantling: 3x
• Experience: 3x
• Mating interval: 66% faster
• Growth speed: 3x
• Egg hatching speed: 3x
• Baby cuddling interval: reduced by 2x.
• Seedling growth rate: 3x
• Hair growth rate: 2x

These speed increases in item farming will allow the player to save a significant amount of time, leading to the player having more resources quicker than usual. Therefore, players will be able to engage in PVP quicker than the usual fresh spawn. It's also worth noting that sometimes the rates will be boosted further. For instance, during special events players might experience 5x Harvesting, Taming, Experience, and Breeding rates.
