All 10 Artifact Locations In ARK Survival Ascended (And How To Get Them)

After mastering the basics of survival in ARK Survival Ascended, it's time to progress to the next level of thriving and conquering the island. This journey begins with locating the elusive and rare artifacts scattered throughout the map. These artifacts are crucial for summoning the powerful bosses of the game, and if you're prepared to take on their challenge, keep reading.

There are a total of 10 Artifacts that you must collect on The Island map in Ark: Survival Ascended. Among them, three specific Artifacts are required to confront the Broodmother and Megapithecus, while the remaining four Artifacts must be gathered before challenging the Dragon. Let's break down the locations for each of these Artifacts below.

Artifact of the Clever Location

• This is the first Artifact required for the Broodmother boss fight. You can find the Artifact of the Clever in a small cave hidden to the right of the now-dormant volcano in the center of the island. Be cautious as aggressive enemies inhabit this cave.
• Coordinates: Lat: 40.2 Long: 46.6

Artifact of the Hunter Location

• The second Broodmother Artifact, the Artifact of the Hunter, is located in the southern part of the island, concealed amidst trees and foliage. The provided coordinates will lead you to its entrance. Expect similar aggressive enemies inside, so prepare your weapons and healing items.
• Coordinates: Lat: 85.2 Long: 54.2

Artifact of the Massive Location

• The final Broodmother Artifact, the Artifact of the Massive, is situated on the far east side of the island. As shown on the map image, the entrance is inside the small crescent cliff face on the east side of a small island. Beware of the lava and flying Onyc creatures inside this cave.
• Coordinates: Lat: 74.2 Long: 92.3

Artifact of the Devourer Location

• The Artifact of the Devourer is the first Artifact needed for the Megapithecus boss fight. It can be found on the small island off the northeastern side of the main island. The cave is similar to previous ones but includes a swimming section. Watch out for creatures in the water and aggressive dinosaurs on the small island.
• Coordinates: Lat: 8.9 Long: 91.4

Artifact of the Pack Location

• The Artifact of the Pack is the second Artifact required for the Megapithecus boss fight. It's inside the cave in the middle of the island towards the southeast side of the large mountain range. Enemies inside are similar to those in previous caves.
• Coordinates: Lat: 71.5 Long: 57.2

Artifact of the Brute Location

• The Artifact of the Brute, the final Megapithecus boss Artifact, is challenging to find. Its cave entrance is underwater on the far west side of the island. Watch out for aquatic threats like Electrophorus, Megalodons, and Plesiosaurs.
• Coordinates: Lat: 54.1 Long: 3.7

Artifact of the Skylord Location

• The Artifact of the Skylord is the first Artifact needed for the Dragon boss and is located in the far northern region of the ice biome on the island. The entrance is on an ice cliff face, next to a large withered tree. Inside, you'll encounter ice cave enemies like Direwolves, Yetis, and Purlovias. Be prepared for the cold weather.
• Coordinates: Lat: 14.2 Long: 13.9

Artifact of the Immune Location

• The second Artifact for the Dragon boss, the Artifact of the Immune, can be found in the center/southwest side of the island near the large mountain/forest range. The enemies inside are varied but not entirely new.
• Coordinates: Lat: 64.8 Long: 35.1

Artifact of the Strong Location

• The third Artifact required for unlocking the Dragon boss, the Artifact of the Strong, is located in the glacial area of the game on the northwest side of the island. Look for the cave with an ice entrance. Inside, you'll encounter a small number of enemies, including Yetis who can jump out of the ice unexpectedly.
• Coordinates: Lat: 26 Long: 29.1

Artifact of the Cunning Location

• The final Dragon Boss artifact, the Artifact of the Cunning, is located on the far east side of the island and is once again in an underwater cave. This cave features various air pockets and underwater swimming sections, so be prepared for aquatic enemies before attempting to obtain it.
• Coordinates: Lat: 45.2 Long: 95.7

Note - These Artifacts are required for facing the Gamma (base) versions of the bosses. To challenge them in their Beta or Alpha forms, you'll need the Artifacts and the Tributes specific to each boss. So after defeating these powerful bosses in their base form, consider attempting their more formidable versions.
