Gigantoraptor is a brand new creature available in ARK Survival Ascended's The Island map.

Gigantoraptor is the new creature that was supposed to debut in ARK Survival Ascended with The Center's release; however, it has now been added to The Island as The Center has been delayed indefinitely.

It is a wild and territorial creature that will protect young creatures in your tribe, and not only this but during a fight, all of them will defend each other, giving you an extra advantage. Here is how you can tame Gigantoraptor in ARK Survival Ascended.

First of all, in order to get Gigantoraptor in The Island, you will have to download its mod. Now, as per the information available, it is a passive tame, and in order to get it, you will have to sneak into its nest and gain the trust of the babies by playing with them. In order to do it, mimic them by selecting the correct gesture within the time limit. Keep doing it until the baby Gigantoraptor is tamed.

Once it reaches adulthood, it will care for young creatures in your tribe. Furthermore, you can call it to locate orphaned creatures in the game. Once you add those creatures to your tribe, it will care for them as well.
