ARK Valentines Event 2024: Start Time, Love Ascended Rewards and More

Update 2 - The ARK Love Ascended event has been extended until Monday, Feb 26th

Update 1 - The ARK Love Ascended event is now live, and will continue to spread joy and affection until Tuesday February 20, on Official Servers.

As the month of love approaches the survivors of ARK Survival Ascended, expectations rise for the return of last year's Valentine's event. This event featured abundant new content, items, and cosmetics for players to obtain and enjoy. But what can we anticipate in 2024? ARK Love Ascended Event - Start Times and End Dates

Studio Wildcard has confirmed that the Love Ascended event for 2024 will start on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, and will "continue to spread joy and affection" until Tuesday, February 20, 2024, on Official Servers.

Just below is a reminder of the official start and end times:

• Love Evolved Starts on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10:00am PST
• Love Evolved Ends on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 10:00am PST

What Content To Expect During The ARK Love Evolved Event?

To begin with, in terms of content, players can expect to see cosmetics. These are typically made available in the HLNA Shop, and while last year introduced numerous new skins, this year may bring an entirely new set of skins/cosmetics. 

Last year's event featured unique mechanics, such as receiving chocolates when dinos mated, which could be used to tame or heal other dinos. Additionally, some sweets could temporarily change a dino's color, making the event both entertaining and romantic.

It's noteworthy that last year's skins were not accessible for Nintendo Switch players; however, with the game now optimized on Unreal Engine 5, this circumstance might change, though we'll have to wait and see.

Another expectation is for higher rates to facilitate faster progression in the game during the 2024 Valentine's EVO event. While not all details are known, we anticipate the rates to be similar to last year's, which were broken down as follows:

• Official Servers: 3x XP, Harvesting, Taming, and Breeding (imprint, maturation, hatch/gestation), 0.5x Mating Interval, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
• Small Tribe Servers: 4.5x XP, 4.5x Harvesting, 4.5x Taming, and 4x Breeding (imprint, maturation, hatch/gestation), 0.5x Mating Interval, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
• ARKPocalypse: 5x XP, 5x Harvesting, 5x Taming, and 5x Breeding (imprint, maturation, hatch/gestation), 0.5x Mating Interval, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
• Classic: 6x XP, 6x Harvesting, 6x Taming, and 5x Breeding (imprint, maturation, hatch/gestation), 0.5x Mating Interval

Special creature colors were also introduced during the event, allowing players to tame uniquely colored dinos that embodied Valentine's mood on the Island. These colors included Dark Lavender, Dark Magenta, Magenta, Dino Dark Purple, Dino Light Red, Deep Pink, Dark Red, Lemon Lime, Red, and Actual Black.
