Baldur's Gate 3: All Battle Manoeuvres

Battle onwards, Baldur's Gater!
Baldur's Gate 3: All Battle Manoeuvres

Baldur's Gate 3 presents you with a whole bunch of options depending on the class that you choose, with more classes offering up more and more options as you level up throughout your probably one-hundred-hour journey. One of the classes that has a ton of options you probably wouldn't have expected is Fighter, and if you pick the Battle Master subclass then you get to choose from a huge amount of maneuvers.

Battle Maneuvers Explained

Battle maneuvers are special moves that you can do in combat that cost something called a 'superiority dice'. These are D8s, and you start with four of them once you choose the subclass itself. You regain your superiority dice whenever you finish a short or long rest, and you gain extra dice on some level-ups.

All Battle Maneuvers

  • Commander's Strike
  • Disarming Strike
  • Distracting Strike
  • Evasive Footwork
  • Feinting Attack
  • Goading Attack
  • Maneuvering Attack
  • Menacing Attack
  • Precision Attack
  • Pushing Attack
  • Rally
  • Riposte
  • Sweeping Attack
  • Trip Attack

Can other classes use Battle Maneuvers?

Yep! If you take the Martial Adept feat then you gain one Superiority Die and learn two

from the list of Battle Master maneuvers. It's not as strong as actually speccing into the Battle Master subclass, but it's still useful.
