Baldur's Gate 3: Can You Save Arabella's Parents?

Can you save the Tiefling's parents?
Baldur's Gate 3: Can You Save Arabella's Parents?

During Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3, you'll encounter a Tiefling Child in the Druid Settlement who is being harassed by the Druid in Charge, Kagha. This child is named Arabella, and you can talk Kagha down from killing her and save her from a vicious fate, you'll find her again in the Shadow Cursed Lands in Act 2 of the game. Sadly, you'll discover that her family has met a terrible fate as you do.

Can You Save Arabella's Parents?

You'll find Arabella waiting outside the House of Healing in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. This is a location that you have to go right next to in order to progress the story, so you'll definitely run into Arabella before you leave the area. Arabella will tell you that she's lost her parents but has tracked them to this house, and will then ask to stay in your camp until you find them.

You'll find Arabella's Parents inside the House of Healing, in a back room with a nurse. They're dead, sadly, and there's no way to revive them or bring them back. If you cast Speak With Dead on them you can ask them a few questions about what exactly is going on here and how they died, but there's no way to save them. Once you've done this you can report back to Arabella, who will be upset about the situation (who can blame her), but after a long rest, you'll be able to wrap up the quest.
