Why is my appearance weird using a modded character?

So it's important to remember that as a newly released game, Baldur's Gate 3 is being updated pretty much weekly. Sometimes it's only smaller updates that fix issues in the game and patch out bugs, but sometimes they add whole new branches of content or new endings for characters.

Due to this, mods can get messed up. A mod has to be designed for the specific version of the game that you're playing, otherwise, they just won't work. You'll see character meshes seemingly just not work, which is occasionally fixable just by editing your appearance, but can also be completely unfixable, so keep that in mind.
