Baldur's Gate 3: How To Get Slayer Form

A deadly power awaits you in Baldur's Gate 3, but what's the cost?
Baldur's Gate 3: How To Get Slayer Form

There are a lot of boons and powers you can get in Baldur's Gate 3, whether that be through leveling up normally or whether that be through finding cool items. One of these boons is called the Slayer Form, which most players will first encounter during Act 3 as it is a terrifying form used by an enemy named Orin the Red. However, you're actually able to get this form if you do certain things during character creation.

What is the Slayer Form in Baldur's Gate 3?

Spoilers for the Dark Urge follow!

During Act 2, you're met with the urge to kill Isobel, the cleric protecting the Harpers in the Shadow-Cursed lands. If you kill her, then you'll be informed that you have a gift waiting for you. That gift is the Slayer form, which does the following attacks:

  • Multiattack: 1d4 four times
  • Let The Slaughter Begin: A roar is unleashed in a 12-meter range. All enemies who fail a constitution saving throw are marked, which makes them easier to kill
  • Relentless Lunge: Leap into a foe, causing 4D6+7 bludgeoning damage. On a failed strength saving throw your target is prone for two turns.
  • Sumptuous Blood Bath: Deals 3D10 Slashing Damage. All targets that fail a Constitution saving throw bleed for three turns.
  • Slay: 6D6+7 Damage on a successful attack

It's an incredibly strong form, but it does come at the cost of your humanity, so we'd recommend waiting until a second or a third playthrough before you try and get it.
