MOUZ have ended their trophy drought in style, defeating Spirit 3-1 in the grand final of BLAST Bounty Season 2 2026 in Malta to claim their first piece of silverware since PGL Cluj-Napoca 17 months ago.
It is a result that carries real weight for a MOUZ side that has spent much of 2026 rebuilding, with both xelex and PR earning their first tier-one trophy at the event – the latter making his MOUZ debut in Malta. The team leave the island with $226,563 in prize money and a further $40,000 in club share from the $1.15 million prize pool.

Spinx Leads MOUZ to Victory
Lotan “Spinx” Giladi was the decisive factor across every map, topping the server throughout the series on his way to a 1.54 rating, 78 kills, 89.3 ADR, and a +4.97% round swing – 15 kills clear of any other player in the final. He was named MVP of the event.
Spirit were expected to control the opening two maps, particularly on their own pick of Dust2, but donk went missing early and MOUZ capitalised ruthlessly. Spinx posted a 1.91 rating on Dust2 as MOUZ won 13-8, and then topped the server again on Mirage – adding another 20 kills to his tally – as Spirit were held to just four rounds, their worst map of the tournament by far.
Spirit did pull one back on Ancient, where donk finally came alive with 21 kills to extend the series, but MOUZ were not letting them all the way back in. A quad-kill from Spinx on Nuke proved the decisive moment, and a 13-10 scoreline sealed the trophy.
On broadcast, xertioN joked that nobody beats MOUZ eight times in a row, relishing the moment as the win snapped a long head-to-head streak Spirit had held over them. It is exactly the confidence-building run this MOUZ lineup needed heading into the second half of the year.
The next major checkpoint for both sides is the Esports World Cup 2026 CS2 event, which runs from August 12-23 with a $2 million prize pool on the line.
