How to unlock the MAC-10 and Groza in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War

With the release of Black Ops Cold War / Warzone Season One, there's a whole lot of new content to enjoy, from new Operators to unlock, to Rebirth Island in Warzone and a 100 Tier Battle Pass. In the latter, you will also be able to unlock two new free weapons, namely the MAC-10 SMG and the Groza Assault Rifle.

How to unlock the MAC-10 in Warzone/Cold War

With the start of Season 1, Black Ops Cold War and Warzone progression are now completely integrated and this includes the new Battle Pass system. Basically, if you unlock something in Black Ops Cold War it will also be unlocked in Warzone, and visa versa.

Inside the new Battle Pass is the MAC-10 SMG, which is the fastest-firing SMG at the launch of Season 1.

You can unlock the MAC-10 in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War simply by reaching level 15 in the Battle Pass.

This weapon is available in the free tiers, which means you won't have to fork out any cash to unlock it. Instead, you can simply play the game, complete challenges and unlock the MAC-10 by making a time investment.

However, if you do want to throw some money at Activision and unlock the MAC-10 quickly, you can purchase the Battle Pass Bundle at the prize of 2,400 CP which gives you 20 levels, instantly unlocking the MAC-10 in the process.

How to unlock the Groza in Warzone/Cold War

Just like with the MAC-10, to unlock the Groza Assault Rifle in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is as simple as levelling up your Battle Pass.

To unlock the Groza, you will need to reach level 31 of the Battle Pass, which means there's a whole lot of XP to grind to get there.

A description of the Groza reads: "Chambered in 7.62, the Groza is a prototypical Soviet bullpup assault rifle known for its great handling speeds, allowing its owner to quickly aim down sights in the heat of battle.

"With a fire rate and bullet velocity near the top of its category, expect to deal solid damage to a target down-range and with quick follow-up shots for whoever arrives as backup."

If you want to unlock the Groza without delay, you can purchase the Battle Pass Bundle at the prize of 2,400 CP (roughly $20) for 20 levels instantly unlocked, followed by $1.50 per level purchase. This means you can unlock the Groza instantly by opening your wallet and throwing $36.50 at the new Battle Pass.
