The release of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 didn't bring any new Light Machine Guns to Verdansk. There are, however, eight of these massive guns available in the game right now, and if you want to know which LMGs are the best in Warzone Season 2, and which are the worst, we've got you covered.
In our tier list, we ranked the Warzone Season 2 SMGs from best to worst via a four-tier system. We've also got an Assault Rifle, Submachine Gun and Sniper Rifle tier list if you are looking to expand your Warzone arsenal knowledge.
Warzone Season 2 Light Machine Gun tier list
There's a total of eight Light Machine Guns in Warzone Season 2. As with all other gun types, not all of these have been created equal by the developers.
At the start of a new season, things can always get chaotic as players aren't sure which LMGs are the best, and which they should avoid.
Our Warzone Season 2 LMG tier list includes all the weapons from Black Ops Cold War and the Modern Warfare eras. This tier list is accurate at the launch of Warzone Season 2.
Description of the tiers
We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.
S-Tier: The absolute best LMGs in Warzone.
A-Tier: With a great loadout this LMGs could go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.
B-Tier: In the right hands or in certain scenarios these LMGs are very capable.
C-Tier: This LMG tier requires you to run a perfect loadout. Can be used in specific scenarios to great effect but has some downsides as well.
D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other LMGs in this list.
It is important to note tier lists are not an exact science. However, this list does give you a good idea of the power rankings when it comes to LMGs at the start of Warzone Season 2.
Warzone LMG tier list
Below, we've ranked all eight LMG options for Warzone Season 2 from best to worst, kicking things off with the S-Tier weapons which can mow down your opponents with ease.
The Stoner 63 is pretty dope. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
It feels impossible to choose between the MG34 and the Stoner 63 as the best possible LMG for Warzone Season 2. You can just flip a coin and go for any of those two if you want to shred your opponents. We've given a very slight edge to the Stoner 63.
The Bruen MK9 in all its glory. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
The Bruen MK9, before some nerfs in previous seasons, was the top LMG out there. In Warzone Season 2, it is still very close to the S-Tier. The FiNN is a bit of an underused LMG which can compete with the best-of-the-best in the right hands.
The PKM can pack one massive punch. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
- PKM (get the best loadout)
Barely not making the A-Tier, these LMGs from the B-Tier are still very effective in the right hands, and with the best loadout possible.
The SA87 is lonely in the C-Tier. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
By choosing the right attachments for the perfect loadout in Warzone Season 2, the SA87 can still be highly-competitive while grouping up with friends.
The Holger-26 isn't all that competitive. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
Don't phone the Holger-26 if you are looking for a good time in Warzone Season 2. Instead, go for one of the other seven LMGs on the list.
