Weapon changes in Cold War Season 3 Reloaded: All buffs and nerfs

Here you will find a complete list of weapon changes in Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded.
Weapon changes in Cold War Season 3 Reloaded: All buffs and nerfs

Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded will bring by far the biggest amount of weapon changes in the game's history.

The mid-season 3 update comes stacked with new content, including two new maps (Standoff and Duga), two new weapons(the Baseball Bat and the AMP63 pistol), several new limited-time modes, a bunch of new content for Zombies, and more.

But, aside from new content, the thing that will shake up the meta the most is a long list of weapon buffs and nerfs Treyarch has prepared for this update.

Starting from Season 3, Treyarch said they are willing to experiment more with weapon buffs and nerfs, and we've already seen the first steps in that direction with previous patches, but with Season 3 Reloaded, things are going to change drastically.

Check out all the weapon changes in Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded.

Cold War Season 3 Reloaded Sniper changes

In this update, Treyarch states that they have two goals with sniper rifles changes:

  • To create more meaningful gameplay between sniper rifles and other weapon classes.
  • To better define the role of each sniper rifle to give them more individuality and specialization.

Snipers now have a unique flinch that moves the weapon aim while being hit, which is especially pronounced when in ADS.

Additionally, sniper rifles will now have ADS Momentum unique for each rifle. This means that sniper rifles that are heavier will now feel weightier and re-acquire ADS slower.

Asides from these global sniper changes, changes have been made to the LW3 - Tundra, Pelington 703, M82, ZRG 20mm, and Swiss K3.

The goal for each of these changes is for each sniper rifle to stand out and offer a unique playstyle, which will fill a specific role in combat.

The LW3 - Tundra should now have more long-range accuracy, while the Pelington 703 is best for players who like to be mobile snipers.

Changes to the M82 should help the weapon to find its position between the ZRG 20mm and the LW3 - Tundra, filling the role of a semi-auto sniper rifle best for holding down a position.

The Swiss K31 should serve as a high-risk high reward weapon, for skilled players able to kill multiple enemies in a short amount of time.

Finally, the ZRG 20mm should be slow but deadly, for those who prefer strategy over tactics.
