MW3: How to Get The Gilded Camo

Unlocking the Gilded camo in Modern Warfare 3 is the equivalent of unlocking Gold in any Call of Duty, making it the easiest to unlock and the most iconic camouflage in the entire game. We're here to tell you how to unlock the Gilded Camo in Modern Warfare 3.

How To Unlock The Gilded Camo In Modern Warfare 3

Unlike the other mastery camos, Gilded is relatively straightforward to unlock, with players only needing to focus on one specific gun instead of all thirty-six. Unlocking the Gilded camouflage will contribute towards unlocking any future mastery camos such as Forged, Priceless, and Interstellar. But to unlock Gilded on any weapon, complete these steps:

• Complete all base camouflage challenges (under the "weapon name mastery" tab)

This will require players to unlock four different camouflages by completing challenges such as "Get fifty kills with the *weapon* of choice."

• Complete the Gilded Weapon challenge 

This will require players to complete a single challenge, such as "Get five kills without dying, ten times." After completing this, you will have unlocked the Gilded camo for the weapon you're using. Repeat this cycle on other weapons to also unlock Gilded camo for different guns within MW3. 

Players do not need to complete and earn any camos from the "all camos" tab under each weapon, players simply need to focus on the "mastery" dedicated camo challenges.
