Activision are set to add another collaboration to Call of Duty, once again with a popular TV show. The Walking Dead protagonists, Rick Grimes and Michonne, are set to arrive in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone in celebration of the upcoming TWD spinoff, The Ones Who Live.

Here's everything we know about this upcoming collaboration, including its release date, cosmetics, and more.

Rick Grimes & Michonne Modern Warfare 3 Operator Skins Release Date

Activision have confirmed that the release date for the Call of Duty x The Walking Dead collaboration will be with the launch of Season 2, on February 7, 2024.Rick Grimes will be available as an instant unlock with the MW3 and Warzone Season 2 Battle Pass. As for Michonne, she'll be available as a new store bundle, purchasable with COD Points.

Given that Rick Grimes will be an instant unlock for Battle Pass owners in MW3 & Warzone Season 2, we expect juust the Operator skin to be on offer. However, those purchasing the Michonne Tracer Pack from the in-game store can expect the following items: 

  • Pair of blades
  • Finishing Move
  • Two Weapon Blueprints with tracers
  • Weapon Charm
  • Sticker
  • Weapon Decal

It's possible that we could see similar bundles to that of Call of Duty's past collaboration with The Boys. Players could expect to see emblems, weapons skins and more that keep in theme with the upcoming collaboration.

As we wait for The Walking Dead collaboration to hit Call of Duty, be sure to check out the recent teaser trailer which recreates the iconic opening of The Walking Dead.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 is set to drop on February 7, 2024.
