All COD Vanguard weapons - Unlock levels and types

Call of Duty: Vanguard boasts an exciting campaign, zombies, 20 maps and a variety of multiplayer game modes. There are some powerful killstreaks to acquire, perks for players to equip, and tactical equipment to take down enemies with. Speaking about taking down enemies, there are also over three dozen weapons for players to shred their enemies with. In this article, we list all the COD Vanguard weapons in their respective categories (types) as well as the levels players need to reach to unlock each one.

COD Vanguard weapons - Types & unlock levels

Almost all weapons in COD Vanguard can be completely overhauled via the Gunsmith and players can add up to 10 attachments. This makes COD Vanguard's weapon loadout options the most diverse yet.

With deep customization possibilities, and over three dozen weapons to choose from, COD Vanguard is a gunophile's dream.

Below, you will find a list of all the COD Vanguard weapons, sorted by types, and the unlock level you need to reach. 

Please note: At the time of writing, not all unlock levels are known. We will endeavour to update this article once more information becomes available. 

Vanguard assault rifles:

There are a total of seven assault rifles in COD Vanguard at launch.

  • STG44
  • BAR - Unlock at level 18.
  • ITRA Burst - Unlock at level 10.
  • NZ-41 - Unlock at level 24.
  • Volk - Unlock at level 30.
  • Fedorov Avtomat (Automaton) - Unlock at level 8.
  • AS44 - Unlock at level 33.

Vanguard submachine guns:

There are a total of six submachine guns (SMGs) in COD Vanguard at launch.

  • MP40 - Unlock at level 16.
  • Sten - Unlock at level 8.
  • M1928 - Unlock at level 20.
  • PPSH-41 - Unlock at level 51.
  • Owen Gun - Unlock at level 29.
  • Type 100 - Unlock at level 39.

Vanguard light machine guns:

There are four light machine guns (LMGs) in COD Vanguard at launch.

  • Type 11 - Unlock at level 37.
  • DP27 - Unlock at level 18.
  • MG42
  • Bren - Unlock at level 53.

Vanguard shotguns:

Short-ranged combat enthusiasts will be able to utilize four shotguns on 5th November.

  • Revolving Shotgun
  • Combat Shotgun - Unlock at level 14.
  • Gracey Auto - Unlock at level 31.
  • Double Barrel - Unlock at level 49.

Vanguard marksman & sniper rifles:

There are three marksman and three sniper rifles in COD Vanguard at launch for those who enjoy long-ranged combat. The list below starts with the three snipers.

  • 3-Line Rifle - Unlock at level 22.
  • Kar98k - Unlock at level 43.
  • Type 99
  • M1 Garand - Unlock at level 6.
  • G-43 - Unlock at level 47.
  • SVT-40 - Unlock at level 27.

Vanguard handguns:

There are five handguns at launch and according to the developers, there will be over 60 attachment choices!

  • M1911 - Unlock at level 23.
  • RATT 
  • Top Break - Unlock at level 12.
  • Machine Pistol - Unlock at level 45.
  • Klauser - Unlock at level 35.

Vanguard launchers:

Four launchers are available at the launch of COD Vanguard to blow your enemies to smithereens. 

  • Panzerschreck - Unlock at level 26.
  • M1 Bazooka - Unlock at level 11.
  • Panzerfaust - Unlock at level 34.
  • MKT1 Launcher - Unlock at level 52.

Vanguard melee weapons:

Only two melee weapon options are available on 5th November.

  • Combat Knife
  • FS Fighting Knife - Unlock at level 22.

There's also a combat shield that technically falls under the "melee tools" category. You can unlock the shield at level 42.

We expect more weapons to release in both COD Vanguard and Warzone Pacific as new seasons get released.

So there you have it, all the weapons in COD Vanguard at launch, the levels you need to reach to unlock these guns, and their categories.
