After being released from Chicago Huntsmen, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson has officially signed with Atlanta FaZe for the 2021 Call of Duty League season.
He joins his former eUnited teammates Tyler “Abezy” Pharris and Chris “Simp” Lehr on the roster, who previously won the 2019 Call of Duty World League championship together.
The arrival of Arcitys completes Atlanta FaZe’s squad for the next season, with McArthur “Cellium” Jovel rounding off their four-man team.
Arcitys effectively replaces both Preston “Priestahh” Greiner and Michael “Majormaniak” Szymaniak on the roster, who have now joined Minnesota ROKKR.
This also means Arcitys and twin brother Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson are likely not playing on the same side once again for the 2021 season, after playing alongside each other on the Chicago Huntsmen squad.
Arcitys was a consistently strong performer for Chicago Huntsmen throughout the 2020 season, with the team placing third in the overall standings behind Atlanta FaZe and Dallas Empire - who went onto win the Championship title.
Next year’s Call of Duty League season for Black Ops Cold War will see a number of notable changes, namely the switch to a 4v4 format and playing on PC instead of consoles.
