The Modern Warfare version of AUG is still one of the top SMGs in Warzone. Check out what attachments you should use for the AUG (MW) in order to have the best result in Season 4.

Best AUG MW loadout for Warzone Season 4

For a long time, there was only one AUG in Warzone, the one added from Modern Warfare which is classified as an SMG.

With the addition of the Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone's arsenal, now there several duplicates of weapons, one of them being the AUG. Unlike the MW AUG, the Cold War AUG is a tactical rifle.

Now we have this cleared up, let's put our focus on the MW AUG.

The MW AUG remains a strong choice in its class in Season 4. It has a high fire rate and it is a rather easy weapon to control, which means you can stay nimble in tight situations, something you would usually like to have as an advantage when using an SMG.

It might not be as strong as the MAC-10, but with the proper set of attachments, we could build upon the weapon's advantages and try to negate some of its shortcomings as much as possible.

After three days of testing, we've come up with the build that will give you great results in Warzone Season 4.

Let's check out what we think is the best class setup for the MW AUG in Warzone Season 4.

In our opinion, the MW AUG is still a great pick if you want to have a more long-range oriented SMG in Warzone Season 4.

For that, we recommend these attachments:

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
You are probably already aware of just how important is the Monolithic Suppressor, it provides crucial sound suppression which removes you from the mini-map, while also improving the weapon's damage range, thus allowing you to engage in combat earlier.
Barrel: 407mm Extended Barrel
Significantly improves Damage Range and Bullet Velocity, making the weapon even deadlier at a variety of distances, while giving better Recoil Control as well, allowing you to stay on the target. The weapon's ADS speed will be a bit slower, so keep that in mind when engaging.
Laser: Tac Laser
This one is all about your aiming. It significantly improves aiming stability and it will make your hands steadier when walking while aiming, and that's something you will do often with this build. Finally, it brings back some of that lost ADS speed. Just always be aware that enemies will see your laser.
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Further improves aiming stability and recoil control. As you have probably figured out by now, we are aiming to make a solid mid-range build, thus we need our hands to be steady and aiming reliable.
Ammo: 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drums
This is what makes the MW AUG a deadly killing machine. Huge capacity combined with extra damage and range. It will help you unlock your inner Rambo.

And that's it, this is the build that can be played both as a primary and a secondary gun, but it requires drastically different approaches depending on how you want to play it.

It boasts very high damage and precision, capable of quickly dealing with targets in both mid-range and close-range situations.

One thing you will have to be aware of while playing is that your mobility is significantly hindered due to the attachments, so you will need to think about your positioning and be one step ahead of the opponents.
