Because of the Vanguard weapons that exist now, plenty of players might be used to the idea of 10 attachments on their weapons. But most of the weapons from Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare can do well and even outperform some of the current meta weapons. With the right loadout, the M4A1 is one of those rifles.
Warzone Pacific Season 4 - Best M4A1 loadout
With only five slots to choose from on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare weapons, it can be hard to tell which attachments work best for a rifle like the M4A1. But even in Warzone Pacific Season 4, the best attachment options remain similar to what they were when Modern Warfare weapons were the most common loadout picks.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Magazine: 60 Round Mags
- Optic: VLK 3.0x
The Monolithic Suppressor is the first addition to the M4A1 loadout, and that is the norm across nearly all Modern Warfare weapons. This muzzle attachment remains one of the best ways to compensate for range weaknesses in rifles. Effective damage range increases and sound suppression are the main reasons to equip one. Muzzles from Vanguard are far better, but this does the job.
Next is the Stock M16 Grenadier barrel. There are two barrels that can be considered viable and the other one is the Corvus Custom Marksman. Both of these barrels have incredibly similar stats that will enhance effective range, bullet velocity, and the overall recoil control on the weapon. However, the Stock is simply worth the small jump in negatives.
Commando Foregrips are another staple attachment for the Modern Warfare line of weapons, even in Warzone Pacific Season 4. These offer recoil stability and aiming stabilization with next to no negative impact on the mobility performance.

For the ammunition, some players will choose smaller mags to save some speed. In this loadout, the 60 Round Mags are used to make up for the increase in health from a couple of seasons ago. Using the 50 rounds can be done in Fortune's Keep without any consequences.
The VLK 3.0x Optic is the final attachment and is used on nearly every Modern Warfare assault rifle. A G16 2.5x would be the equivalent in the Vanguard loadouts that are based around assault rifles. But these are still remembered as some of the most common optics in the game well before Warzone Pacific Season 4.
