Best MP5 (MW) loadout for Warzone Season 5

The long-awaited Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 patch is here and brings major changes to the game. Beyond the shiny new battle pass, there is also a slew of new additions, including new POIs, a new Gulag, several new modes, and two new powerful, high-calibre weapons.

Activision has also finally released the latest weapon balance changes which included a heavy knock to the MP5 MW submachine gun (SMG) damage and damage range. Here is the best MP5 class setup to use in Warzone Season 5, considering these new changes.

The MP5 MW drops to our A-tier list of SMGs to use this season after it was hit with a few major nerfs in the latest weapons balance changes. These included a significant reduction to both damage and damage range. JGOD speaks about these nerfs in a lot more detail in the video we have embedded below.

JGOD highlighted that players will have to be more consistent with their chest shots to get the same TTK, whereas before the nerf you could get away with fewer shots out on an enemy's stomach or limbs.

The following loadout is based on JGOD's "Top 10 loadouts" for Season 5.

• Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
• Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
• Stock: Raider Stock
• Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
• Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd Drum

JGOD recommended the Agency Suppressor in his video but you may have to go with the Monolithic Suppressor to make up for the 5.4% nerf to the MP5's maximum damage range.

This attachment will still provide sound suppression but you will lose out on buffs to vertical recoil control, bullet velocity and effective damage range provided by the Agency Suppressor.

The Tiger Team Spotlight Laser is still the best laser attachment to use for that increased movement speed and aim walking movement.

In addition to this, you can pick up the Raider Pad Stock to boost aim down sight (ADS) firing movement speed, aim walking movement speed and sprint to fire time. 

The Bruiser Grip Underbarrel attachment will boost movement speed, sprinting and shooting move speed and aim walking move speed by 3% and provide great additional mobility.

Lastly, we end off with the STANAG 50 Rnd Drum for additional ammo capacity.

And there you have it, the best MP5 loadout in Warzone Season 5. This loadout is intended to be paired with the Obz Ranger Assault Rifle as a primary weapon, with EOD, Overkill and Combat Scout Perks.
