Best weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 2 - Strongest and broken guns

It's finally time for Warzone Pacific Season 2 after a highly-anticipated debut for the new era of COD's battle royale. The second season on Caldera looks to be full of surprises including map changes, weapon changes, and more.

Warzone has become notorious for its upkeep in terms of weapons balancing, aiming to keep the player-base on its toes. Guns are constantly nerfed and buffed to bring forgotten weapons back into the fold, as well as lower the effectiveness of others.

It's time to look at the weapons pool again as we launch into Season 2 and figure out what the new meta is. Here are all the best weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 2 including the strongest and most broken guns.

The new season means a new set of weapons changes for players to work through. Patch notes highlighted which guns were nerfed and which guns were buffed, leaving players to enjoy the new landscape.

Opening weeks of Season 2 gameplay will truly determine the new meta for Caldera, but here's what it looks like to this point.

Strongest Warzone Pacific Season 2 AR's

• BAR
• Grau 5.56
• Kilo 141

The Cooper Carbine has been a strong AR in Warzone Pacific but with the recent barrel nerfs affecting performance like vertical and horizontal recoil, you may opt for a different AR. Though many players will be looking to simply build their new loadouts based on the Cooper Carbine barrel nerfs. Both the Kilo and Grau remained unaffected by the latest update and should do just fine in Caldera Season 2.

Strongest Warzone Pacific Season 2 LMG's

• Bruen MK9
• Whitley
• Stoner 63

Introduced as one of the new Season 2 weapons, players can now try out the Whitley, a hard-hitting LMG to overpower enemies. Outside of the heavily speculated Bren nerf, the DP27 was the only LMG affected by the recent update receiving a slight nerf in which the Lower Torso Multiplier was decreased from 1.1 to 1. Stoner 63 and the Bruen MK9 remain reliable options as alternatives to ARs should you find yourself in a bit of a bind on Caldera.

Strongest Warzone Pacific Season 2 SMG's

• PPSh-41
• Bullfrog
• Owen Gun

The MP-40 has long been one of the most popular weapons in Warzone thanks to its versatility. However, the recent update brought two nerfs to the SMG in the form of Maximum and Mid damage range decreases. A change-up in the landscape for this class means weapons like the Owen Gun received a barrel buff taking the bullet velocity up by a whopping 30%.

Strongest Warzone Pacific Season 2 Sniper Rifle's

• Swiss K31
• Kar98k
• AX-50

In addition to the Kar98k Marksman Rifle, these are the top options for long-range sniping in Warzone Pacific Season 2. Snipers are becoming more and more popular in Warzone Pacific and with map changes arriving in Season 2, there could be some new spots opened up for camping.

The HDR gets an honourable mention as it's still a viable weapon, but you're better off with either the Kar98k, Swiss K31, or AX-50.
