Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 is finally here and with it comes a long list of balance changes, including a stir up to the weaponry meta. If you’re also looking to stir things up in-game, then you’ve come to the right place. Previously, the CR-56 AMAX was the undisputed king of assault rifles (ARs), but it has since been nerfed in the latest patch. This means that the XM4 is now the most powerful AR in the game, given its lethal rate of firing and great mobility. It’s now also considered as a favourable alternative to the SMG. So with that said, here is the best loadout for the XM4 in Warzone Season 4.
Best XM4 loadout for Season 4
The XM4 is a fantastic close-medium range pocket weapon, pairing well with the long-range Sniper Rifle. The AR/Sniper Rifle combination appears to be the meta this season and we can understand why.
The duo allows for maximum damage both up close and from afar. We have therefore chosen a combination of attachments that are aimed to maximize the XM4’s mobility and firing power, which you can see below.
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.5” Task Force
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammo: Salvo 60 Rnd Fast Mag (or STANAG 60 Rnd)
- Stock: Raider Pad
In order to offset the high recoil of the XM4, you’ll want to firstly reduce recoil and drop off with a Field Agent Grip underbarrel. It’s no use wielding spectacular firepower when your accuracy gets flushed down the toilet. Indeed, this attachment forfeits accuracy at medium-long ranges; but this is compensated by the Sniper Rifle.
Otherwise, we suggest using the 13.5” Reinforced Heavy Barrel and the Agency Suppressor muzzle to boost damage range and bullet velocity, respectively. Together, these attachments will bolster damage at medium-range. The Agency Suppressor will also conceal you on the minimap when firing.
The Salvo 60 Rnd Fast Magazine is an obvious choice to further increase damage output, by reducing the frequency of reloading and increasing overall ammo capacity. This allows you to stay in the fight for longer. Otherwise, the STANAG 60 Rnd would be another great alternative, although you lose out on the 35% additional reload quickness.
Finally, the Raider Pad stock attachment improves mobility by a substantial margin; that is if you aren’t a fan of optic sights. The attachment will boost sprint to fire time by 30% and aim walking movement speed by 40%, albeit at the expense of reduced hip fire accuracy (-30%).
There it is! The best XM4 loadout in Warzone Season 4. The present season of Warzone definitely capitalizes on two AR or sniper rifle/AR combinations, so we hope that this loadout will find you success during your runs in Verdansk.
